Facts Day Facts of the Sunday 12/06/2026 1.Do you know a neutron star can rotate only in a fraction of a second. 2.When two neutron star collides they form heavier elements like gold. 3 . All big galaxy like milky way galaxy has a supermassive black hole important for galaxy's shape. 4.If anything goes close to black hole and if we see it from our Earth we will see that it is moving          very slow and this can be explained through the relativity of theory by Albert Einstein.

Neutron stars Neutron stars are 2nd most densest object in space after black holes. They are also formed when a massive stars die but in this the star's core which is going to become a neutron star is slightly less dense than the core of star which is going to form into a black hole. There famous for strongest magnetic field and very fast rotation speed. There many type of neutron star in which some are famous for very fast rotating speed, strongest magnetic field and etc. They can pack more mass than our Sun just in few few kilometers (20 to 24 km) due to imense density.

Black hole Introduction As name suggest you will think of a hole which black in color. But black hole are not holes they are the cosmic object in  space where no one can escape and even light which is the fastest thing in our univerese cannot escape it. What it is according to scientist According to scientist it is a point that has intense gravity and has infinite density. It has infinite density because they are form from the massive stars' core when they die because the balance of gravity and nucler fusion became unstable and due to pressure of gravity the core compressed too much and formed the densest object in the universe which we called as a black hole.

Types of stars  Not all stars are same. Each type of star has its own behaviour. There are 7 types of star according to electromagnetic spectrum as all stars has different color in appearance. They are as shown below:- O type :- These type of stars are hottest and blue in color. Their temperature is above 30,000 K. These type of stars use their fuel so quickly that their lifespan is short as millions of years.    B type :- These type of stars are second hottest one and are light blue in color. Ther temperature is from 10,000 to 30,000 K. These type of stars also live for millions of years. A type :- These type of stars are third hottest one and they are white in color. Their temperature is from 7,500 to 10,00 K.These type of stars live for approx 50 to 100 millions of years F type :- These type of stars are golden in color and they are slightly more hot than the our Sun. Their temperature is from 5,000 to 6,000 K. These type of stars live for billions of years. G type :- ...

Death of Stars

Death of stars  Giant phase When the star has attend its full size it enters into a longest stage of life called as mid age and use their fuel (hydrogen) for millions to trillions of years according to the type of star. But when their starts ending up the stars with above 0.5 mass of our Sun become red giant or red supergiant and start fusing heavier elements like oxygen and iron. Their surface temperature decreases but their core due to pressure of gravity starts increasing its temperature. Death While upto here this is same for all stars with above 0.5 mass of our Sun. But their final death varies. Stars with 0.5 to 8 times the mass of our Sun gently shed their layers leaving behind a planetary nova and a dense core called as white dwarf which will shine for billions years. While stars with above 8 times the mass of our Sun die in Explosive Supernova leaving behind a dense neutron star or a black hole. In comparison of neutron star and white dwarf the white dwarf size can be like...
Fact day Annoucement I want to annouce that every sunday of a week will be a fact day in which I will post most fascinating facts related to science and space.

The Life cycle of stars Birth:- The birth of stars take place in beautiful big cloud of gas called as nebula. When significant amount of gas come together due to gravity the core of star is formed and it starts taking up matter around it and a protostar ( baby star ) is formed. As it takes matter it starts becoming bigger with time but there is also a limit to become bigger. When the star come its maximum size of its limit it stops taking matter and it starts using its own fuel ( hydrogen ). Note:- The mid age and death of stars will be published on 7 July 2026 in this blog only.
